Corporate History
In 1989, Sunbelt Transport was incorporated as a transportation brokerage organization. By March of 1994, after five years of continued growth, a carrier division was added to better meet the needs of our customers. First one, then two new premises were acquired to accommodate the rapid growth of the carrier division.
Then, our brokerage and carrier divisions were brought together under the name Sunbelt Logistics Group. Operating from the Ontario Food Terminal, we serve our customers from a state-of-the-art facility that includes 90,000 square feet of computer-controlled cold storage on two levels.
In May of 2002, Sunbelt Logistics Group launched their latest technological innovation, on-line shipment tracking. This new technology enables customers to know exactly where their shipment is at any time of the day or night.
