In 1989, Sunbelt Transport Services was incorporated as a transportation brokerage organization with a unique mandate to service the transportation requirements of the fruit and vegetable importers at the Ontario Food Terminal. Since then, the company has evolved to become a premier Third Party Transportation and Logistics provider, with a focus on temperature controlled commodity transportation services, operating under the name Sunbelt Logistics Group.

Our offices, situated at the Ontario Food Terminal, have recently been modernized to provide our operations team with state-of-the-art logistics and telecommunications technology to best serve our customers. Our technological advantages ensure timely transmission of information, effective load tracking and timely deliveries of our clients shipments.

With a database including thousands of transportation companies across North America, Sunbelt has evolved to become a trusted advisor to many food manufacturers, produce growers and food distributors across the North American continent.

In 2008 Sunbelt expanded its service offerings to include over the road LTL refrigerated cargo and an over the road dry freight division with both FTL and LTL capabilities.

In 2009 Sunbelt expanded its service offering to include a full service international container division. The mandate of this division is to offer clients door to door service of both refrigerated and dry container imports originating in the far east destined to Canada and the United States.
